This clock could fit well in so many decor styles...Victorian, goth, steampunk, shabby chic, romantic. I add jewelry to most of my items but I did not to this clock because it is just perfect as it is. It has a quartz movement and takes an AA order battery. I will install first battery and set to your local time so you will be good to go for a while.***I package very carefully however in the rare event that something arrives damaged, please take detailed photos of the item in the box, all the packaging materials ( paper and bubble), the condition of the carton and the damaged item showing the damage in detail. I add insurance to all parcels not covered by carrier and in order to make a claim for damage, these photos are necessary. Thank you for your cooperation***.
