Stanley No. 5c Plane
AKA Stanley #5 Plane Corrugated

This has been restored, tuned, and is ready for its next 100 years! The japanning is original and almost perfectly intact.

Type 14. This plane was manufactured between 1929-1930!

Type 14 can be identified by...
• High front knob
• Raised ring cast in bed at toe for knob
• "Bailey" Cast in Toe behind knob
• "Made In USA" Cast in Toe in front of knob First & Only Appearance
• Large depth adjuster nut (1 1/4")
• One patent "APR-19-10" date behind frog (One patent date is found on type 13 & 14)
• Left handed depth adjuster nut
• Keyhole shaped hole in lever cap
• Stanley logo on the lever cap
• Frog adjustment screw
• Just "STANLEY" On Lateral Adjuster

The tote was repaired before I acquired this plane. It looked like it hadn't been touched in 40+ years, but I can vouch for the repair job and have used this plane personally. It is sturdy and will not cause problems. Aesthetically you can hardly notice it (see last picture).

If you have vintage planes or other rusty tools that you would like restored, please order message me! Happy to help.
