This listing is for a rare vintage signed Benedikt gold tone and rhinestone Maltese cross pin. It can also be worn as a pendant.

Condition: Quite nice vintage condition. I do not see any missing rhinestones.

NOTE: The bezel around the purple rhinestone, does rotate. I'm not sure if this is inherent in the design.

Howard Benedikt created a line of quality costume jewelry in NY from 1955-1963. These pieces inspired other well known designers, most notably Kenneth Jay Lane.

This Maltese cross pin is one of Benedikt's most recognizable designs.

I love the color combination of the purple center stone and faux turquoise cabochons. I have not found any other Benedikt pieces with this color palette.
