Fairy order on a Mushroom. Made to Order

If you go quietly through the woods you may stumble across an autumnal sight such as this!
I had so much fun making her, and particularly the mushroom, the underside of which is made with pleated silk.
The little fairy sits tentatively on the mushroom, and has a scrim dress and wings and beaded head piece. The total height of this piece is approx 30cm (including the mushroom and base)
She can be made to order so if you would like a particular colour scheme, please feel free to ask.

Within my sculptures I endeavour to capture an emotional response through movement and dynamics. These are bespoke, quirky mixed media sculptures all using wire, foil and fabric dipped into a weatherproof textile hardener called Paverpol. Each unique piece is individually made; as they evolve they form a spirit of their own. This keeps the joy of making them alive and exciting.
