ABOUT: Between 1958 and 1964 Emanuel Ungaro worked as a in house designer for Balenciaga, before setting up his own haute couture house in 1965. The ‘Parallele' pret-a-porter line was launched in 1968; followed later by ‘Collection' and then finally ‘Sola Donna', which I think was in the late 1980s. His first perfume did not appear until 1997. He died in 2019 at the age of 85, but his luxury brand lives on!
