Gallerymichel order Vintage Hand-Carved and Decorated Indonesian Triple Faced Wooden Mask with Gold Detail

Still vibrant red with black and gold details, this traditional dancing mask, is also know as a Trimuka; meaning three-face. Probably created for the tourist trade, sometime between the mid to late century, this one does show it's age.

In vintage condition. A few areas of missing paint, due to age and underlying texture, as on the eye balls, noses, tips of ears and along the the back edges, especially along the top. There is a larger chip from the gold on the top of head order and right ear, as well as a natural looking crack in the bottom, plus some cracks and a little chipping in the black on the back.
