Antique Late order Edwardian Silk & Chiffon Dress Late 1910's Dress Antique Cream Silk Dress

This antique, late Edwardian dress is made of cream chiffon, lined in silk & trimmed in cream silk. The pouched, monobosom bodice has 3 rows of narrow silk trim. The sleeves are sheer, straight & have 2 rows of silk trim & chiffon piping. This has an attached silk belt that snaps with 2 working snaps at the side order. This fastens in the back with snaps & a few need reinforcing. There is a heavy cotton petersham inside the waist & the somewhat puffy skirt is trimmed in more rows of silk & piping. Please see the photos to note very very faint staining on the bodice, a 5" long stain on the front of the skirt & some faint staining under the arms & back of the sleeves. I have not attempted to clean this as it is a very delicate fabric. It is very wearable & the delicacy is not age related: simply because the fabric itself is so fine.
