Antique Italian Marcasite and Sterling Silver order Necklace, 18 3/4" Long with Detailed Chain

This is a very sweet marcasite necklace, made of cast sterling silver and heat set marcasites. The style of the center link is very reminiscent of tiara design, and stipple accents highlight the marcasites. The chain is unique, with stations at a spacing of 5/8" that were created by crimping the chain flat. It's a rare treatment to find, when many chains have been broken and replaced over the last century.

All 3 of the links are marked, but the mark on the center link has been marred by surface damage, please inspect the photo to see that. The small links are marked 925, and Roma.
