Byzantine Christian Orthodox Icon. The Crucifixion of Jesus. 100% Hand Painted Orthodox Icon on olive wood curved 20x40 cm with the traditional method of the Byzantine hagiography with pseudo-gold background. All our hagiographies are hand painted on wood, mostly sea plywood 2 or 3 cm. The procedure for the image includes the preparation (special processing) of the wood with materials that will make it withstand many years and the painting according of the Byzantine technique with egg tempera, emphasizing the detail and the quality of the colors

SAFE PACKAGING:
I always do my best with the packaging. I use a double layer of "bubble" plastic. The wrapped up item is put into a box which is written “fragile”. That has always been enough to send the works safely to any foreign country
