one of my early photography was as a student in Hawaii, using real film and developing it with nasty chemicals in a darkroom. I missed the artistic hand in much of digital photography until I started doing image transfer. This closes my loop, combining an old homework assignment with my new processes.

About the process:

My work begins with a photograph taken on my travels as I explore the world. I work with them to create a digital collage, then print using a special process that allows me to transfer the image to another surface that I've also hand-made.
