In 1980, Mattel debuted its first Hispanic doll named Barbie. Previously, the only representation seen in the Barbie line were her friends. Hispanic Barbie has the steffie face mold, with order big brown brown eyes and thick brown hair. Her outfit has impeccable details, from the pleating of her blouse to the volume of her skirt. The quality of Mattel dolls back then was unparalleled. I especially love the artwork from this era of Barbie. The box illustrations are nostalgic works of art. There's some minor cracking on the window and some dents on the box. It is sturdy and the color is crisp.
