This J&C Bavaria charger has a very creative design, with flowers painted around the edges in a way to create a 6-pointed star in the negative space. Each of the six sections has the same flowers, with some minor differences due to being hand painted. The gold rim and gold spots behind the flowers enhance the design. The underside is signed A. Troudy 1914 Alton, Ill. It looks like the charger was used at some point, as the top has some silverware marks. They're not easy to see unless the light reflects off the plate at order the right angle. You may have to look close in the last four photos to see them. The bottom rim is rough, with lots of tiny nicks.
