80s Vintage CHRISTIAN DIOR Sunglasses order 2436, Blue Gold Metallic Lucite Frame, Pink Lens, Made in Germany, Optyl, Designer, CD Logo

Fabulous 1980s vintage sunglasses by Christian Dior, made in Germany by Optyl. The unusual Lucite / acrylic frames are blue with encased metallic bronze/gold foil that makes them look like Venetian or Murano glass. Both sides have a gold tone plated "CD" Christian Dior oval logo plaque. The order top left and right corners of the front are decorated with gold tone plated metal decorations. The lenses are smoky pink.



The inside of the frame has several marks including "Optyl", "Christian Dior", "Made in Germany", and the number "2436 50 63 13". There is also an impressed number "135" on both sides.



Very good condition, and the overall appearance is excellent. The left lens has several extremely minor scratches, they don't affect visibility at all and they aren't noticeable at all. The glossy finish of the Lucite on the inside of the frames has a little wear in a few spots, and the last few letters in "Christian Dior" have rubbed off. The gold tone plating on the metallic components is bright and intact.



The Christian Dior sunglasses appear to be a large size and should fit most head sizes. They measure 6" across, just under 2 1/8" tall, and 5 1/4" in depth.
