Product Name: Bamboo Scarf, Hand order Dyed with Indigo, Black Walnuts, and Pokeweed

This soft and silky bamboo scarf was handwoven in my basement studio during the spring of 2017.

The yarn order was hand-dyed by another creator, Grace Rother, with natural dyes. The blue stripe is bamboo yarn dyed with indigo and the beige-pink come from black walnuts and pokeweed.

Why bamboo?
I started using bamboo because it is a more renewable fiber than cotton and I fell in love with it's soft-strength and durability. Bamboo is considered a renewable resource based on how quickly it grows after being harvested.
