Included in the box set are The Hobbit, The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers and The Return of the King, complete with the original red slipcase box. All four books are clean/dry and are in nice condition.

Overall, there is some minor edge, spine and shelf wear - completely acceptable considering this item's age. The original red cardboard slipcase shows wear but it's still fully intact and in good vintage condition. The books are a very tight fit, as is the case with all of these old boxed Tolkien sets. All of the books are September 1973 printings - a matching set. Books measure 7 inches by 4 inches. This is a Vintage Item and is Sold As Is.
