French antique bronze jewellery box, footed with red felt like interior and hinged lid, circa 1900.

This is a very lovely footed bronze jewelry case in a Louis XV / Art Nouveau design. The attention to detail is impressive, even the underneath has an ornate design and that would never really be visible. Beautiful!

There is no maker name but there is a model number underneath.

It does have signs of age and wear. There has been a repair inside and you can see on the outside where the jewelry case was split shown on photo 10. It has a very minor wobble on a flat surface. The lid has no restrainer so opens fully. The felt-like interior is also a little worn. It has a wonderful and unique patina on the bronze metal.

A charming jewellery box in which to keep those special little treasures.
