Railroad Sculptural Bookends order

These are custom bookends made from salvaged steel. They combine small gauge train track in the base along with a salvaged railroad spike. Those elements form the base that holds 2 pieces of wide and a railroad creeper that acts as a handle. The finish that is raw steel that has been acid washed to give it a bit of a black finish, although is varied throughout the piece. I then sprayed them with a matte poly urethane coating to seal the piece. This is definitely one-of-a-kind set.

They are 11.5" tall x 6.5 " wide x 3.5" deep. They weight approximately 10 lbs. each. They both come with a thin adhesive cork on the base to avoid scratching the surface they order sit on. They hold large books with ease and are perfect for a train enthusiast.

Great for an office, loft or modern home.
