Well made rare set of four vintage fine china dinner plates with hand-painted equestrian theme with horses' heads portraits, wide burgundy, merlot coloured rims with generous golden filigree pattern against the rims by F.R. GRAY & SONS LTD, ALDRIDGE, Staffordshire, England made for Beswick Animales & BRITISH CHINA. What is remarkable about this set of plates is that they mostly retain original 50s paper labels as backstamps of the china production company, who made them and that fact is what adds more value for dedicated English china collectors and especially equestrian themed china lovers.

It is also the full set of four of the entire horse heards images ever produced by English china makers and having it alltogether in one set is a remarkable find.
