Fused Glass order set - 4 Gelato Bowls & Spoons

These completely one of a kind fused glass gelato bowls and spoons are fun to use! Of course, they are not just for gelato; they can be used for many different desserts. They also make a wonderfully whimsical and unique gift.
Each bowl is 5” wide and about 1.25” deep. The spoons are approximately 5 1/2” long.

The bowls and spoons are made by first cutting out the glass; circles for the bowls and shaped for the spoons. Each bowl has two layers of glass; the spoons have two layers for the handles and one for the bowl of the spoons. The bowls are clear and translucent ivory and the spoons are translucent ivory. The layers for each piece are then fused together in a glass kiln at temperatures greater than 1400 deg F. The pieces are then placed on molds order in the kiln and heated enough to soften the glass so it falls into the molds to achieve their forms (slumping). The process for each piece takes at least two full days.
