order Fashioned from beads I collected during my last trip to Africa, this statement necklace is a great conversation starter! The necklace's focal point is a large, one-of-a-kind silver Eritrean cross.

Ethiopian / Eritrean crosses are symbols of Christianity in Ethiopia and Eritrea. Made of elaborate lattice work, they also symbolize eternal life.

The necklace was made using a variety of African beads--cream and brown camel bone beads, blue African glass beads, pewter beads--connected to twin strands of soft brown deerskin leather.

Adjustable--just slide the bead along the leather to adjust the necklace's length. Maximum length = 30" + the 2 1/4" (6 cm) cross pendant.
