Griswold No. 8 Small Logo / Early Handle Skillet Circa: order 1939 - 1944

This one is a knockout! Every so often, a skillet comes in and it's just like "wow that's already almost perfect" Almost isn't good enough for us though so it was stripped clean and seasoned to perfection with Avocado oil.

Ready for the stove!

This skillet is about as close to near flawless as you can get. A silky smooth cooking surface, a bold Griswold logo )which is clear as a bell) and lays flat with no wobble. What else could you ask for?

This is the slightly more rare "Early Handle" version of the small logo Griswold in production from 1939 to 1944. Predating the "Late Handle" and "Grooved Handle" versions of the skillet both introduced in 1944.

A solid era for the worlds great skillet company and this is probably the best example of that era that I've had the pleasure of restoring in recent memory. A real beauty.
