Maple decorative hollow order form bowls

order This maple bowl (hollow form) was turned by me on my lath. The hollow form bowl is 3" high and 8"wide.The term hollow form in wood-turning means that the opening of the bowl is smaller than the diameter of the bowl. The opening on this piece is approximately 2 1/4". The form is hollowed out through the small opening. The smaller the opening in relation to the hollow form the more difficult it is to turn. I then finish the piece with a durable finish that compliments the natural beauty of the wood.
