ZAVADKA, Slovakia Cap order #2 , Ladies Folk Costume, Staining and Soiling

The second of two ZAVADKA, Slovakia ladies caps I am listing today.

This one has less elaborate embroidery than the first cap. Here, the cross stich is larger and it does not constitute a grand majority of design. There is also visibly more order soiling.

The cap is made, again, of what feels to me like, THICK homespun cotton (not linen). There are places with two layers of that fabric.
Embroidery includes cross stitch, chain stitch, ladder stich, satin stitch and more , and the main color is deep wine.

There is a flap in the front, photo 3, which features crochet lace; and a thread finish at the back edge to insert drawstring tape. The drawstring tape itself is missing.

CONDITION OF CAP: Staining, soiling and yellowing outside and inside, last five photos.
