Vintage antique Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs motif handmade and decorated red painted wood girl's room table.

This antique children's table with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs motif is a one-of-a-kind find for the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs collector or for your little girl's bedroom.

This appears to be a handmade wood table as evidenced by the order following information that is stamped into the underside of the top of the table. "MADE IN M T BY EARL D. RACKMYER JAN 20 1920 AGE 16" "REFINISHED JAN. 1947 BY E.D.R. FOR SUE-ANN" is hand painted in blue below the stamped inscription. I suspect that Earl made the table for himself then refinished it for his daughter.

The 1947 refinishing looks like it included a fresh coat of red paint and the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs slide decals. Playtime and the passing of years has worn off some of the paint and decals and left it with a patina that gives it a beautiful rustic charm.

I found this table while picking through an old Morton building located in the country west of Yorkville, Illinois. This building was packed wall-to-wall and ceiling-to-floor with years of auction purchases that had been stuffed onto the industrial shelving inside. This table is the most unique item I found in that pick.

This is a solid table for the most part but there is some movement in all four legs. A fitted glass top will preserve the beauty of this table for another 100 years.

The table top measure 26" x 14-1/4". It stands 14-3/4" tall.
