Order Hayride barkcloth, 1930s farm vintage fabric, 1.9 yards for pillows, home decor

Judging by the number of farm prints I've seen over the years, they must have been hugely popular in the 1930s and 40s. This fabric feels in-between the cuddle cloth period and true, smooth barkcloth. It has a regular, raised pattern throughout, which adds a little heft and texture. This piece was damaged during its decades of storage. I soaked and washed it, but you can still see the (very) faint outlines of order the staining in the photos.

The vignettes are classic farm scenes: A cowboy at a picnic, a barn dance, a horse and wagon hayride, kids picking apples, and my favorite -- a chicken coop with several happy birds. Colors are simple red, gold, chocolate, and apple green. There is some writing on the selvedge, but it's cut off across the top and I can't read it.

This is a sweet old pattern for a cabin or farmhouse. And I do have more of this, so let me know if you need additional yardage.
