Pietersite is a variety of Quartz, composed naturally of Tiger's Eye, Hawk's order Eye and Jasper, and is characterized by an incredible chatoyancy and brilliance of life within the stone. Its dominant gold hues are contrasted with deep blue-black, grey and brown, as well as occasional clear areas.
Beautiful handmade Pietersite pendant in 14K gold filled wires. The main stone - Pietersite is in excellent quality. Shape in oval and has typical deep blue and yellow colour. The pendant hung on a beaded necklace with yellow Opal and blue Sandstone. Great colour combination to match the pendant. Very detail art work and it is an unusual style.
