Dartmouth Indians Framed order Vintage Football Program

This is a curated Dartmouth College football program. The date of the program is October 12, 1946. Dartmouth's gridiron opponent was the Penn Quakers. This was a home game for Penn as the contest was played at Franklin Field in Philadelphia. Noteworthy about this program is the cover artwork of Bob Crowther, who at the time was one of Philadelphia's foremost illustrators. Crowther's works appeared for many years in some order of the major magazine publications, including Cosmopolitan, The Saturday Evening Post, McCall's, and The Country Gentleman.

The program is in excellent condition. All pages are intact. Comes in a 10 3/4 x 13 3/4 walnut frame with attached sawtooth hanger for wall mounting. For the old school alumnus or fan. Makes a great anniversary or birthday gift. A rare vintage collectible and a very special item!
