The New Jersey Mug from the States order Mugs Collection (one mug per state), This mug is a part of a series called The States Mugs I.
Description
This mug is a part of a series called, The States Mugs. I am only making one mug to represent each state. This one displays the state bird, the state flowers, and other imagery familiar in the state of New Jersey. I threw the mug on the wheel. I then hand drew the imagery and painted it with underglaze. I bisque fired it to cone 04. I strategically glazed the mug and then fired it again to cone 5. The mug is a little over 5 order 1/2 inches tall and 3 inches across the rim.
