The Green order Man

This hand-pulled linoleum print depicts The Green Man surrounded by oak leaves and acorns, a fertility image that represents the abundance of the forest.

The Green Man is a two color reduction print in green and black, meaning that the first green layer was printed from a carved block, then the linoleum was carved further and then the second black layer was printed on top of the green base. The size is 10" x 8" and is printed on thin block printing paper, from an edition of 30.
