Scotish order Moss Agate Estate Broach

Another broach picked up during our tour of the UK late 1990's, ran into a small antique show in a church in northern England. Classic Scottish thistle design, sterling with their traditional moss agate, colors or green ,brown, and milky order grey. the back clasp has been replaced because it has the classic cross over design of the c- clasp period, which dates the piece to early 20th century. The colors of the stone really light up, see photo number 4. Anyone who knows these classical Scottish items will be sure to love this one. The surrounding designs in silver are the classic thistles and crown of the jewelry of this period.
