Mown Willow branches pattern made from solid white silk-velvet, creating a texture called devorè or "burn-out velvet" or "cut velvet". The fabric is sheer silk dyed purple, with an all-over velvet pattern hand-painted with dyes in purples and greens in a watercolor style.

• Washable:
This scarf was pre-washed as part of the dying and hand-painting process. A cold, gentle cycle will make it softer. A hot dryer will make it fluffier. It may be ironed on the reverse side.
