This is a very old lamp but it is currently working without any issues. No flickering or frayed wire issues. I am not sure what it is made out of. It feels to have more of a clay fired base than ceramic. I call her my Cinderella Lamp. Given that she is an antique or vintage she may have some imperfections that I am not seeing. So please look at the photos carefully. I would say to expect some imperfections but nothing that stands out. She has real personality.
