Stunning antique heavy lead crystal two handled open sugar bowl. This piece is an exceptional work of art from the American Brilliant Period. The bowl features two handles and measures 6.5" from the tip of one handle to the other. The base of the bowl is just under 4" in diameter and it's approximately 3" tall. The edge of the bowl is a sawtooth design typical for this era. The glass is cut in intricate hobstar and fan designs with a gorgeous star cut in the bottom. The glass is clear and sparkling. The bowl is in excellent antique condition. While polishing, noted some scratches on the bottom interior of the sugar bowl that can be felt with the tip of your finger and some minor chipping on the surface. No fleabites. An elegant crystal clear glass decor piece for an art nouveau decor or shabby chic. Would make a fabulous housewarming gift or a kind gesture for order a welcoming host.
