Hanau order Germany Silver Spoon #9438

Hanau Germany silver figural spoon.

A beautiful example of German Hanau silver by Vereinigte Silberwarenfabrik, which was formed in 1914 after merging Wolf & Kell with Gebruber Glaser, this spoon depicts what appears to be a knighting scene at the top of the handle, and a Dutch scene in the bowl.

Measures 6" long, 1 13/16" wide bowl, 1 3/4" wide scene at the top of the handle.

Weighs 31.6g, 20.3dwt.

Marked: GERMANY, leaf, flying bird( Hanau marks), VS

Very nice condition, with heavy tarnish and discoloration and light surface scratching.
