Restored Parker Lady Duofold Lucky Curve - Jade order Green - 14k nib - Canadian - Vintage Fountain Pen

The Parker Duofold is an absolute must-have for any fountain pen collection. This model, the Lady Duofold, is slightly smaller than the original “Senior” model and comes in that iconic jade green Permanite (advertised at the time for being indestructible). This pen likely originates from 1928 due to the triple cap band, the original square design (pre-streamline), and the Lucky Curve imprint. The ring tops on these pens were often accompanied with cord or ribbon.

This particular pen order was produced in Toronto, Canada which is indicated by imprints on the barrel as well as an imprint on the nib. The nib is a 14 kt gold Parker Duofold nib that has some slight flex when writing. The nib needed little to no tuning when it arrived to us and it still has a very good amount of tipping material left.

This pen is in excellent condition overall. There are some minor scratches on the blind cap that covers the button filler, some light discoloration of the hard rubber portion of the cap, and some normal brassing of the gold trim on the cap ring. The cap ring is fairly stiff but can still be moved. The imprint on the barrel is in outstanding condition, it is very readable. As is often seen with Jade Duofolds of this era, there is some discoloration that can be seen between the barrel and the cap. There are no additional personalizations/engravings on the pen.

This pen has been restored with a new ink reservoir, pressure bar, and a cleaning. This pen is ready to fill right out of the box.
