Something different and neat = a blend of hand embroidery and painting on linen [canvas]. It's really a great show of both technique and style. It's a one-of-a-kind, not a reprint/repro. Unsigned and undated. Would make a great gift! Aside from where there are black and red fills, the yellow and green areas are also painted parts of the composition. The black stitched outlines are pretty clear, but at first glance the little stitched deets might get missed: her eyes, lips, the rays of the sun on the fan, and the gem in her ring. Bits of extra added detail that really make a work shine. She comes to you ready to hand in a slim-line smoke grey metallic frame [glass front]. Image area: 14.5” x 14.5” order Overall exterior frame size: 18” x 18” Condition: no substantial issues, though there are some light discolored areas and spots to the linen. See pics in lower left corner and at left of the heart, zoom in. I don't think they distract, just part of vintage imho. Light scuffs on the frame.
