The central focus of this very special bracelet is a 13mm x 17mm order brown, white and gray polymer clay owl bead hand crafted by the brave women of the Samunnat Nepal project. This beautifully made owl is flanked with 2x2.5mm Hill Tribe Silver softly faceted cubes, 13mm Tibetan Amber resin Copal beads capped with scroll-etched oxidized Sterling Silver, and 10mm matte Black Onyx spheres.

Finished with loops of Charlotte cut silver plated Czech seed beads, Sterling Silver and stamped Hill Tribe Silver findings, and a 13mm stamped Hill Tribe Silver toggle clasp, this bracelet is 7.75 inches in length, fitting a small to average sized wrist depending on where on your wrist you like to wear it. Message me if you need it to be lengthened a bit.

Hill Tribe Silver contains a higher percentage of silver than Sterling (97-99% vs. 92.5% purity) that makes it softer than Sterling and brighter, but slower to tarnish.

Samunnat Nepal is a nonprofit organization that was formed to help women whose lives have been impacted by domestic violence, physical and psychological abuse. Located east of Kathmandu, Samunnat women earn fair wages that enable many of them to leave their vulnerable, often violent situations to start new independent lives for themselves and their children. These beads are handcrafted from Polymer clay and each one is its own individual work of art. The process takes patience and is time consuming in order to achieve the millefiori patterns, tiny appliqué shapes and layers of clay.

Amber is recognized for restorative healing and protection from negativity. It is thought to enable the body to let go of the past and generates fresh pathways. It is also believed to bring about a happy-go-lucky and sunny frame of mind, and promote good fortune and prosperity.

Black Onyx is believed to be excellent for grounding negativity and releasing stress that can be worn for protection, to banish grief, and to encourage happiness and good fortune.
