Hand painted order silk scarf Geodes

Hello and welcome to my art shop!

This is 100% hand painted one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art.
These series of scarves are ispired from the Geodes - they are spherical rocks that contain hollow cavities lined with crystals. The name geode comes from the Greek word Geoides, which means "earthlike." These unique rocks can be formed in a variety of ways and colors and I find them very inspiational to recreate on silk.

The dimensions of the silk scarf are large size 160 x 60 cm. The scarf is with hand sewn hem. I use italian natural silk with nice satin sheen. Colors are set by professional steaming process, so the silk dye bonds with the silk fibres at the order molecular level. Colors are permanent and sun tolerant- they will never fade.

This extravagant scarf will be a highlight of any outfit. It will make a beautiful and unique gift.
